At seven, Christian's mother placed the boy in an orphanage, where he stayed until he was a teen.

That's when he emerged as a young man ready to take life by the horns ... ready to be a victor. Ready to be a new man.

Christian took those pieces of his resurrection to form a new identity, and a new name -- henceforth, he would be Victor Christian Newman.

Through dint of his will and wile, Victor spent the next couple of decades developing himself into a shrewd businessman and founding his own company, Newman Enterprises.

After 40 years in Genoa City, Victor is renowned as a devout ladies' man and a tycoon not to be reckoned with!
